When was blaze the cat created

Finally appreciating the value of friendship, and the need to accept help from others from time to time, Blaze began to realize the true power of the Sol Emeralds, recharging them and for the first time used their power to transform into Burning Blaze , her super form.

As Burning Blaze, she and Super Sonic successfully stopped Eggman and Eggman Nega from taking over the universe, and at the same time repairing the tear in the space-time continuum and once again separating their worlds. Afterward, she and Sonic promise to see each other again and say their goodbyes as they shake hands, being torn apart by their respective dimensions being returned to normal. On the path back to her dimension, she remembers Sonic's word of advice on friendship and trust and that she now had that power.

Reassured, she said to her imagination of Sonic that they would definitely meet again, and headed back to her world. Blaze appears in Sonic the Hedgehog In this game, she appears in the future of Sonic's world. She constantly fights Iblis alongside the new character and friend Silver the Hedgehog.

Blaze the Cat follows Silver throughout the game, who shows signs of insecurity when she is not around. She seems to talk to Silver more than anyone else. At the end of Silver's story, Silver tries to seal Iblis inside of his soul, but the Flames of Disaster won't accept him as the vessel. Blaze ends up sealing Iblis inside her soul, and begs Silver to use Chaos Control to seal them into another dimension. Silver refuses to because he says he could never do that to her, and that he doesn't know what he would do without her.

Blaze replies, "You're still so naive. But, I I've always liked that about you She then says, "Good luck, Silver. Later, Sonic and the others destroy Solaris in past, present, and future, which erases the events of the game from history, meaning Blaze still exists. And that Blaze's and Silver's meeting never existed thus meaning that they do not know each other.

Strangely, Blaze doesn't appear to help fight Solaris, even though this could be to have only seven characters to find the Chaos Emeralds. This could imply that she wasn't affected by the change in the timeline. This theory isn't confirmed, however. Blaze returns in Sonic Rush Adventure once again as the only playable character apart from Sonic.

She appears to stop Captain Whiskers , a robotic pirate, from stealing the mystical Jeweled Scepter , which is acclaimed to have the power to control her world's geological activities. While trying to protect the scepter, Blaze bumps into Sonic, both of them surprised to see each other.

It is revealed that Sonic has entered Blaze's dimension. Before Sonic's departure, he and Blaze shake hands once again, to signify respect and their growing friendship. Blaze also comforts Marine, who is also saddened about the heroes' departure. She is the last Knight of the Round Table Sonic will fight. After their fight, she falls from a high cliff, and Sonic and Caliburn save her just in time.

She is initially confused as to why Sonic saved her, as it is customary to kill an opponent after defeating them in battle. Sonic says that "whim is his other master" the first being the wind, as he stated prior to the duel. Caliburn tells them to "save the hugs and kisses for later," causing her to blush as if she had a liking for Sonic.

Sonic's defeat and subsequent chivalrous rescue of Percival is what finally earns him Caliburn 's respect and the official title of "Knight of the Wind". After Merlina spreads dark magic in the second half in the game, Percival goes off to put her sword in the shrine.

She thinks Sonic is kidding at first when he explains his plan, but when she sees he means what he says, she bids him good luck. Despite only being Blaze's counterpart, she can use fire.

She is referred to as "Sir Percival" in-game, even though she is clearly female, since "Sir" is an honorific used by all knights regardless of gender the term "Dame" only applies within the orders of chivalry. She first appears in mission , where she explains that the Sol Emerald she was holding started to glow and she was transported there.

Her mission is for Sonic to destroy 20 Eggman Robots. The second time she appears is with Silver, who are both being challenged by Orbot and Cubot.

They scare the robots away with their fire and psychic powers. Then, they ask Sonic to test out a ride for his mission, which is timed. They thank Sonic for testing it out and he leaves. Blaze appears in the console version of Sonic Generations where she is one of the guests at Sonic's birthday party. She and the others were celebrating Sonic's birthday party where she was talking with Cream, until the Time Eater suddenly appears and captures her, alongside all of the others.

She is then thrown through time where she ends up in Crisis City and ends up in a colorless, frozen state. If Classic Sonic rescues Blaze, she notices that he looks "less spiky". After the battle, Blaze and the others return to the right time and continue celebrating, where she is seen talking to Silver and possibly Shadow.

She also helps in a mission, where she puts out fires in Crisis City. Blaze also appears in a Crisis City mission where she helps clear firing paths and attacks enemies for Modern Sonic using her pyrokinesis, and in a Planet Wisp mission where Classic Sonic must catch Blaze by using the Spike Wisp power-up.

Blaze appears in Sonic Rivals and its sequel Sonic Rivals 2 but only as one of the game's collectible cards. In Sonic and the Secret Rings , Blaze is a playable character in party mode. She's unlocked when the player collects Fire Souls in the adventure mode.

However, she has no relation to the main story. While not being a part of the storyline, Blaze appears as an unlockable racer. Her type of character is Speed and she also bears an outfit similar to her Olympic Games appearance. She's the only unlockable female Speed type racer. She is unlocked by beating the babylon story in story mode.

Her Extreme Gear is called Flame Lance. It can grind on rails meaning that it is Speed Type. Her Gear Info is:. Blaze spectates the match from the sideline in the Green Hill Zone court. Blaze also appeared as one of trophies and Stickers.

Trophy Description. Blaze appears as a well-balanced playable character in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. Her outfit is not her "princess clothes", instead she wears sports clothing.

Blaze is an "All-Around" character who excels in Speed. Her athlete's uniform is changed to fit the winter climate, which appears to be a variant of her normal outfit her coat exposes less of her at the front than with the normal outfit.

She is still an All-Around type character who excels speed. Like all the other girl athletes, Blaze has her outfit changed for swimming, gymnastics and Equestrian.

Her gymnastics and swimming outfit is a dark purple tunic with long black skin-tight shorts. The long shirt is sleeveless and she also wears two red bracelets, a gold necklace, and dark purple slippers.

At first hostile to the "Blue One", Blaze eventually realized Sonic meant her no harm after their brief battle ended and he offered his friendship. Blaze vanished soon after, promising to haunt Sonic's dreams as he'd haunted hers. Nega to retrieve a Chaos Emerald. Eventually, arriving in Mobius , she sought out a Sol Emerald from getting into the possession of anyone else, with assistance from Cream the Rabbit , Cheese , and Amy Rose.

It turned out that three other groups had detected the emerald as well, which included Team Dark , Team Rogues, and Team Hooligan. With the help from Team Dark in a former four-way battle, Blaze recovered her Sol Emerald and peace was restored to her dimension. Blaze is rather anti-social, causing her to be wary and curt towards people she doesn't know.

Depending on the game, the reasons for this varies. In Sonic the Hedgehog it is mentioned in her early character spread sheet files Blaze was young, she was teased by others because of her powers, which is the reason why she wears a cape to hide her flames. Because of being teased and having no friends, plus the fact that no one would respect her or help her, she could not understand true friendship. In Sonic Rush , it's explained that Blaze is the way she is due to the fact that she's a princess and the guardian of the Sol Emeralds ; these duties that isolated her from the companionship of others.

In addition to her own personal dislike of her pyrokinesis, Blaze developed a habit of trying to do tasks on her own, becoming defensive and even aggressive when help is offered. She is so strict and hard-nosed about it, that when Sonic wanted to defeat Dr.

Eggman and Dr. Eggman Nega as well, she started berating him, eventually leading Sonic and herself to a battle with each other. Towards the end of their fight, she claimed that her flames were a curse, which was why she must defeat both Eggman and Eggman Nega all by herself, "I have to live with my curse My flames Because of my powers I have always been alone! So that's why I must do this alone! I have to do this myself! But later, because of Sonic, Blaze realized that her flames were not a curse, but rather a gift.

When dealing with enemies, she never holds back her strength and is not above the idea of using lethal force.

Because of her own self-imposed strict discipline though, she is often tense and frequently suffers from great self-pressure. Initially, Blaze held a personal dislike of her pyrokinesis because it left her to bear her responsibilities alone, which made her see her flames as a curse. She later learns to accept her powers from Sonic's advice and came to see them as a blessing.

Because of her past and her devotion to her duty, Blaze developed a habit of doing her tasks alone which led her to build up walls between her and other people, making her anti-social, withdrawn and introverted.

As a result, she ended up building up her own secret feelings, leaving her with an inner turmoil. She therefore lacks in social skills, finds it hard to open up and talk to people, and comes off as shy.

She would also be wary and curt towards strangers and frequently reject offers to help, even become defensive and angry when help was offered. This attitude also made her somewhat selfish as she berate Sonic despite him offering help and eventually ended up fighting him. After interacting with Sonic, Cream and their friends, Blaze developed much more socially, making her more amiable, friendly and gentle towards others. She also came to understand the true meaning of friendship, making her willing to trust and accept help from others.

While she still prefers handling things on her own and remains somewhat reclusive, she will accept her friends' help and is genuine grateful for their aid. At the time of Sonic Generations , she is seemingly much more sociable, participating in a party simply for the sake of friendship and is much quicker to open up and relax in front of her friends.

Blaze is very honest and almost blunt when dealing with annoyances such as Marine, even outright telling her that she is a nuisance. She also had a tendency of judging others poorly in Sonic Rush , making her somewhat overconfident and arrogant. Blaze suffers from acrophobia and just the sight of heights makes her terrified, nervous and uncomfortable as seen in Sky Babylon.

However, they did not start out on the best of terms. While Blaze was tracking down the Sol Emeralds during her first adventure on Sonic's world , Blaze was told by many people to team up with Sonic for her quest.

Eggman at Dead Line. After their fight however, Blaze was encouraged by Sonic to not assume too much responsibility and be true to herself. This advice helped Blaze realize that she could allow herself to rely on others if she let her guard down.

Eggman and Dr. Eggman Nega. Since then, Blaze and Sonic have steadily become better friends and allies. During her first adventure on Sonic's world, Blaze could not care less about Sonic himself as he was not related to her present quest. Following that, Blaze willingly chose to believe in Sonic, which would lead to a firm establishment of mutual faith and trust between them. This became evident when Blaze trusted him to face Eggman Nega on her behalf while Sonic entrusted her to save Cream.

Also, just like Sonic acknowledges Blaze's power and skills, [40] Blaze respects Sonic's, having admitted that she bows to his skills.

Blaze and Sonic are alike in many ways, having similar skills and self-assumed duties. On the other hand, they possess very different backstories and contrasting traits, the most obvious of them being Blaze and Sonic's "stoic" and "free" personalities: [4] Blaze is outwardly stoic and blunt, yet inwardly highly emotional, whereas Sonic is inwardly free and adventurous, yet outwardly level-headed and cool.

When it comes down to it, Sonic's way of life stands as a deep contrast to Blaze's. However, Sonic's way of living life like an adventure also means that there is no enjoyment to be found in it if one does not follow their own rules, which demands a strong and flexible mind; in other words, it does not just mean being lax.

It is thanks to this perspective that Blaze has been able to achieve some of the results that are nothing short of admirable and have brought smiles to many faces. As such, Blaze respects Sonic's way of life to a certain extent, because he has a different perspective and approach, but also produces results that overlap with the direction she is aiming for.

Blaze's outlook on life has been affected in many ways by Sonic's attitude and advices; their time together has enabled Blaze to understand the meaning of friendship which ultimately let her to discovering the true power of the Sol Emeralds and how to use them, [32] [45] and his advices have made Blaze come to understand that her pyrokinetic powers were not the curse she made them out to be.

From Blaze's point of view, Sonic is a reliable and capable person, which is a great difference from her usual attitude about others in general. After having been on several adventures with him, Blaze has seen Sonic's ability to do what he speaks and his ability to perform at the critical moment. These feats, in a sense, have made Blaze listen to him. It can therefore be said that she has come to recognize his abilities to a certain extent. This may be due to how Sonic respects Blaze's freedom to do what she wants.

However, he also seems to respect her personal principles of doing the best she can with pride in the position she is in, which he does not have. Because of her endearing trails, Sonic is able to trust and cooperate with her when the time comes. Additionally, the situation of living in different dimensions also affects Blaze's relationship with Sonic.

Fundamentally, since they both live in different worlds, it is for the best that they take care of their own world. While they respect and honor that, they can also cooperate with each other in times of real trouble. This is a difficult balance to achieve, but so far it seems to have been adjusted to some extent by the guidance of the Chaos Emeralds and Sol Emeralds. And the fact that Blaze and Sonic are the ones who are responsible for this is another interesting aspect of their relationship.

Blaze and Knuckles met when Cream saw Knuckles the Echidna and greeted him, and though Cream wanted Blaze to be friends with Knuckles, it didn't work out right.

Knuckles was friendly until he saw Blaze holding a few Sol Emeralds , he mistook them for Chaos Emeralds and therefore gave Blaze advice to give them to Sonic. Blaze gets angry at Knuckles and tells him that she has no Chaos Emeralds. Knuckles accusing her of lying and makes an attempt to harm her, but Blaze dodges and clobbers Knuckles, knocking him out and leaving him lying in a crevice.

Knuckles later wanted revenge against Blaze, but was distracted by Amy. Cream convinces Blaze that Knuckles is actually a 'nice guy', which made Blaze feel relieved.

Near the end of the game, Knuckles no longer shows any dislike for her as he was there with Sonic's other friends while helping Blaze with the Sol Emeralds.

Cream then introduced Amy to Blaze and they were on good terms until Amy assumes that Blaze might like Sonic the way she does. Blaze denies it, saying that she "couldn't care less about anyone named 'Sonic'". Amy helps Cream and Blaze later on by getting away from Knuckles who planned to attack Blaze. Blaze also gives an annoyed expression by putting her hand on her face, saying "Oh brother!

Blaze and Silver, Sonic the Hedgehog You're still so naive. I've always liked that about you. Silver the Hedgehog is Blaze's good friend and companion from the future.

During the events of Sonic the Hedgehog the two have searched for and battled the Iblis together for what seems to be many times. Silver and Blaze are shown to look out for one another, during gameplay Silver will yell to Blaze to watch out for objects because he "doesn't want to see her hurt" while Blaze worries about Silver's insecurity issues when they are separated.

In an attempt to save the destroyed future, they travel back to the present with the aid of Mephiles , who has instructed them to destroy the "Iblis Trigger" in order to prevent Iblis from ever being released.

They work alongside one another, though Silver is implied to be the more dependent of the two and Blaze the mature one - Blaze comments that Silver is "insecure when he's alone" along with scolding him numerous times for being very "naive". After his encounter with Amy, he begins to contemplate the morality of their mission and when reunited with Blaze, relies on her guidance on whether or not it is right for them to kill someone even though it means saving the world.

Ultimately she chastises him for being naive once more and explains that she cannot say either way, all she knows is if they do not take their chance then the future will remain exactly the same.

They continue on their journey to repair the future timeline. At the end of their journey, Blaze chooses to sacrifice herself as the vessel of Iblis as it turns out that Silver is not a compatible vessel. With Iblis trapped inside her, she asks Silver to seal her into another dimension so Iblis can be stopped once and for all. Silver tries to seal her but cannot bring himself to do so.

In explaining why he says that he would not know what to do without her and asks her "we're friends, right? Blaze turns and scolds him one final time for being so naive, then tells him "but, I've always liked that about you" before sealing herself in a new dimension and vanishing. After the defeat of Solaris , the events of Sonic the Hedgehog had been erased.

However, Blaze and Silver have met and teamed up multiple times since and are still depicted as friends. Their old lives have been referenced a few times throughout the series. In Sonic Colors DS version only , Sonic comments that Silver and Blaze were in perfect sync to which Silver replies that he feels like they have paired up before.

Tails mentions that perhaps they were partners somewhere, some time. I never thought I'd be back here again. This world is full of surprises. The two greet each other with a "long time no see" and appear to be close and friendly towards each other. Throughout the story Silver is suspicious of something being wrong with the tourney.

Blaze notices his odd behavior and confronts him about it. He explains to her that he has a feeling that something is not right. Blaze says she trusts him and agrees to help him investigate. They work together with the others to uncover and foil Eggman's plan and rescue Dodon Pa.

Blaze first met Miles "Tails" Prower with Sonic when they were searching for her. They have interacted indirectly, but after her fight against Sonic was finished, Tails tried to convince Blaze to stop fighting and to believe in Sonic so she can rest. She was going to take that into consideration and thanked him for it, but she insisted in fighting Dr.

Eggman herself. In Sonic Rush Adventure , Blaze finds Tails to be a valuable ally, when it comes to machines and sea crafts. Blaze and Marine watching the sunset, from Sonic Rush Adventure. The two were allies in Sonic Rush Adventure , though Blaze initially showed her dislike of Marine the Raccoon by leaving her behind in missions. However, Blaze has no choice but to let Marine come if she promises to stay with the group.

Before Sonic , Tails , and Blaze depart to Pirates Island to unlock the door and finish off the pirates, they decided to leave Marine behind this time, she however doesn't accept it. Blaze confesses to Marine that she is a nuisance which hurts her feelings. Sonic and Tails disagree with what Blaze said and told her she was too harsh on Marine. After Sonic and Blaze save Marine from the Ghost Titan and defeat it, Blaze is disappointed at Marine for sneaking on the Deep Typhoon to come to Pirates' Island which would've put her in grave danger.

Marine however surprises Blaze by finding her stolen Jeweled Scepter. Blaze thanks Marine for the great contribution thus realizing how wrong she thought of Marine and even asks Marine to come along with them for the first time.

At the end of Sonic Rush Adventure Blaze comforts Marine who is sad about Sonic and Tails' departure and then look at the sky hoping to see them again.

Blaze's relationship with Marine becomes very similar to Sonic's relationship with Tails. Blaze's most nefarious adversary is undoubtedly Eggman Nega. Blaze opposed Dr. Eggman Nega for destroying her life by threatening her kingdom and people, taking her Jeweled Scepter and Sol Emeralds , and her friends.

Their relationship could be said to be similar to Sonic and Eggman, though the rivalry between them is more bitter in nature. Blaze is quick to giving an unfriendly feeling whenever Dr. Eggman Nega says or does anything evil, such as what he said in Sonic Rush Adventure "It will only take the fraction of this power to wipe your kingdom off the charts!

Eggman Nega has appeared in the Sonic Rivals series and Blaze hasn't, it is unknown if she knows any of Eggman Nega's doings during these games and is unaware of the fact that he is actually Eggman's descendant and not a doppelganger from her dimension.

Blaze appears to be easily annoyed and angered by Captain Whisker due to the fact that he took her Jeweled Scepter.

She finds him to be a waste of time and does not treat him as seriously as she does other villains. Blaze after defeating Eggman, who had kidnapped Cream, from Sonic Rush.

Like with Dr. Eggman Nega, Blaze has an opposition against Dr. She opposes the idea of Eggman building " Eggmanland " in either her or Sonic's dimension. Eggman steals Blaze's Sol Emeralds in her world, which causes her to chase after him. While in pursuit, she sees a bright light and then passes out.

When she wakes up, she questions whether or not she's in a different dimension; she finds out that she is in another one entirely and Eggman still has all of the emeralds. Throughout the game, she is tracking down Eggman to collect all of the Sol Emeralds back. Also, in Sonic Rush Eggman sends a letter to Blaze that he has kidnapped Cream , which makes Blaze get serious, and tracks him down to save her friend.
