Where is solas bar

I wasn't quite sure about the octopus carpaccio, but the rondelles of Spain's favourite nobbly cephalopod, served in lemon and lime with a shellfish aioli, turned out to be one of the stars of the show. Moving on to meat, a square of pork belly served with braised gem lettuce, spiced carrot, pea and sesame, was crisp on top, but succulent and silky in the middle; while perfectly pink French-trimmed spring lamb chops were given a Moroccan twist with hummus, sheep's yoghurt and the acidity of pickled cucumber.

The dedicated Spanish oenophile may want to splash out on Alabaster by Sierra Cantabria or Pinea DO Ribera del Duero, but, for the rest of us, there's a superb selection to suit all budgets, with lots of wine by the glass.

Nicely poured Guinness. Booked for lunch after a few hours at the MFA. Nice pub atmosphere, great friendly service, food was good. Solas has been a blessing for the neighborhood during this pandemic. Always there following the rules providing a comfortable place to get a good bite of food and a cold drink. The staff have stayed strong and always greet you with a smile. Love this place - amazing onion soup! A very cute place, food was great, two people got the pot pie and loved it.

All and all a great little place. Clam chowder was best I've ever had. Waitstaff was great, we will be back another time. For a small space, Solas does a good job with social distancing. They created small bar dining spaces protected by plastic for two people to sit together.

They are serving their full menu. Excellent service and clearly others know about it because it was busy and loud, more so than I would have expected during a pandemic. The chopped salad is amazing!! We went for my mother's birthday. We will be back! Fun atmosphere and always warm and inviting staff. Our waitress was wonderful, the service was great, their covid protocols were perfect, sadly Burgers and grilled chicken had more of a burned taste than any other flavor.

It is a cozy pub, We will go back for the ambience and hope the foods a bit better next time! Loved it here, food was good and atmosphere was cozy.

It was my first time there, and I will be going back! Great service and great food. We visited Solas right in the midst of the pandemic and I have to say they got it right. We felt very "safe" the entire time, service was outstanding, food was delicious, and tables were far apart and sheltered by plexiglass.
